well, i was at future shop last friday trying to look for a new laptop. i never got to buy a new laptop coz i was debating if i should get a sony or an apple. anyways, i ended up buying a new psp game. while i was in line, waiting to pay, i heard this 13 year old chinese girl say bullshit to the cashier, and her mom was right next to her. her mom didn't say anything!!! i was apalled to say the least...i was shocked at how rude people can get...i wish that that 13 year old chinese girl would one day have to work as a cashier and be on the receiving end of rude customers...I HATE RUDE PEOPLE!

who is jepoy bote?
well, i am, yet another person who wants my opinions to be heard in the form of a blah-g. in 2000, i moved here with my family, in search of a better life. i guess, now i can say that i am part filipino and part canadian. read my blah-g and see how i am trying to mesh my filipino and canadian ways.
why jepoy bote?
well, people might ask why or how i came up with the name jepoy bote. so, here it goes the explanation.
jepoy -- the name jepoy came from my childhood days when KA PEPE would always call me jepoy whenever he sees me. i guess he came up with it because he can't pronounce my second name, jefferson. come to think of it, i came to embrace and like the name jepoy as it feels very filipino.
bote -- bote came a little late in my life. it was in high school when the name bote was coined. thanks to GINANG ESCORIAL (my favorite teacher in high school; she was my teacher for all four years of high school). bote came from my last name, bautista. like jepoy, i came around and loved the last name bote as it feels very "maka-masa"...some of my friends might say that bote is apt, if they recall my alcoholic days (thank god i never got to the point where i have to attend AA metings).

why "the boy who lived"?
so, why did i call my blah-g the boy who lived?
apart from the fact that i am a big harry potter fan...okay, ADDICT. like harry, i have a scar on my forehead. a scar from a near death experience that i had when i was about 4 years old. nope, i wasn't cursed by he who shall not be named! i was simply running inside the house to get the first fish that i caught, and show it to my great grandmother. unfortunately, i took an ugly turn and accidentally smashed my head into a sharp corner (where the ends of two solid stone walls meet). of course, i passed out and the next thing i knew i was plastered all over my head and all i have to remember that day by is the scar of my forehead.
who knows...i might just as well be a horcrux for the "dark lord"...anyone thinking damien (from the movie OMEN)?
